The attic twin room on the fourth floor has steep stairs typical of Amsterdam buildings.

Central Amsterdam location
The hotel is on Rokin, opposite the Amstel River, in the Red Light District. It's a 5-minute walk to Rembrandt Square's bars and restaurants. The Anne Frank House is 1 km away, the Van Gogh Museum 2 km. Museumplein (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum) and Spiegelstraat's antique stores are within walking distance. Tram lines 4, 14, and 24 stop 100 meters away, connecting to Central Station.
Transport and parking
Metro 52 stops at Rokin Station, a 1-minute walk from the hotel. Public parking is available at Rokin Garage (2-minute walk) or Stopera (10-minute walk). For cheaper parking, use P+R outside the center and take the metro. From Schiphol Airport, take a train to Central Station, then tram 4, 14, or 24 (2 stops) or metro 52 (1 stop).

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were really cool and quiet, equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, but there was a strong chlorine smell after cleaning. The location was great near the central station and accessible to everything by foot, but the evening noise from trams, traffic, and boat parties was a downside.
